Hey everyone,

I'm considering running PUBG on a HP ProLiant DL380 server with a 4-Core Xeon Gold 3.8GHz CPU , paired with a mid-range GPU (likely an RTX 3060 or similar). Has anyone tried gaming on this setup or a similar server-grade hardware?

Specifically wondering:

1. Performance : Can the Xeon Gold handle PUBG smoothly at 1080p/1440p, or will the lower core count (compared to modern desktop CPUs) bottleneck gameplay?
2. Compatibility : Any issues with server hardware (eg, BIOS settings, NUMA, or driver quirks)?
3. Optimizations : Recommended settings (OS/GPU/in-game) to minimize input lag or stutters?

I know Xeons aren't typical for gaming, but I'm curious if this setup could work decently. Any insights or benchmarks would be awesome!
